WEA courses cover a very wide range of subjects to help you learn something that has always interested you or alternately that helps you progress in work or address a particular need that you have at the moment. Click here to see the different subjects on offer or go to the course search if you have a particular course in mind.
Whether you want to develop an interest or hobby or gain essential skills such as improving your English we may be able to help. Classes may be run through local branches, our community outreach programme or through the workplace. We have over 80 branches in the southern region all supported by local volunteers! The WEA is the largest voluntary provider of adult education in the United Kingdom so if you would like to support our work by becoming a member click here
We also have a large programme of courses in East Surrey through our partnership with East Surrey College. Look for WEA courses including singing and a wide variety of dance styles through the WEA course search. ESC courses can be found on their web page . This programme is complemented by a range of activities in sheltered housing schemes for older learners

Information and Advice
As part of our provision, WEA Southern Region provides information to all students who enrol on our courses. If in our discussion with you the course best suited to you is with another educational provider such as a local college, we will provide you with all the information to take that next step. Please click here for information about the Careers Advice Service, nextstep and other organisations that can help you find an appropriate course. Most WEA courses are free to people who receive a means tested benefit or Job Seekers allowance, and to their unwaged dependents. Some courses are externally funded and free to all learners. Other courses charge a fee in accordance with regional policy, which should be paid within two weeks of the start of the course. For more information about fee policy and financial support click here
